2021 / 2022 Board Member Results
The Annual Board Meeting was held on Saturday, September 18th. Below is your new 2021/2022 Board of Directors:

LETTER FROM YOUR NEW PRESIDENT:
The USCR Board of Directors recently convened with the newly elected directors attending their first meeting.
The Board agreed that the main concern among owners is when the roads and buildings are going to be repaired and brought to a standard worthy of a five star resort.
Tim Copp, director of Maintenance, presented a list of projects and requests to begin this process. The board, along with Mr. Copp, prioritized the list and authorized him to begin moving forward with the items needing immediate attention. Bids are being taken for larger projects needing to be addressed throughout the park.
The boards next task was to address how to acquire the capital funds needed to finance the much need improvements. The goal is to complete these projects without borrowing money or depleting the emergency funds on hand. The cost of materials, services, and items needed to operate daily and offer the amenities and services to our owners has increased and are projected to continued to rise in 2022. The board looked at several options to acquire the necessary resources to begin necessary improvements and not sacrifice the services offered daily to our owners. Research was done to insure that we continue to be the best value in north Georgia. We looked a the fees and charges in other campgrounds in our area. All of the data was considered and the board voted to increase maintenance fees for 2022. This is the first increase in three years. Therefore, the 2022 Maintenance fees will increase from $450 top $550 per membership.
Please know that this decision was not easy. The board will strive to maximize the return on every dollar spent.
Every need and project will not be completed in the next year, but there must be a starting point. The board is eager and ready to begin the process of making USCR the crown jewel of North Georgia.

The Annual Notice of Board Meetings can be found in the Document Library, available in the Office and each meeting is added to the current Weekly Activity sheet distributed at the Resort. The weekly activities are also posted on the website.
Unicoi Springs Cookbooks
We have a good supply for sale in the front office. Cost is $10.00 each. If you want them shipped, the cost is $3.50 each to do so. A great gift for anyone – a wonderful piece of Unicoi Springs history for yourself.
Memory Bricks
Our beautiful Memory Garden just to the left of the Office now displays 125 Memory Bricks, benches and plants. Check it out next time you’re here. If you have not already ordered special memory bricks, this might be that special present for family or friends who have camped at Unicoi Springs. The cost is $30.00 each. An order will be placed once 10 orders have accumulated so we can get free shipping. (If you want to order a quantity less than 10 and want them quickly, $15.00 shipping would be charged.
A special courtyard has been created to the left of the Office with plants and benches for reflection. Once your brick (s) has been installed, you can do a pencil rubbing to give or keep. Order forms are available on line in our Document Library or in the Clubhouse, here at the Resort. Have you ever thought of ordering one of these bricks for someone outside of Unicoi Springs for their own use or perhaps for yourself to place at your home?? If you do this, just make a note requesting us NOT to install here, rather to let you know when it arrives. What a unique and thoughtful gift to give someone or yourself!
